Brief Description of Processing
Trelson AB will collect personal data for the purpose of developing the Trelson product and making it more accessible to students and teachers with disabilities. The data collected includes email addresses and the type of disability. Participants explicitly consent to this processing.
Recipients of Personal Data
The data will be stored in a Google Sheet with restricted access. Only one person at Trelson AB will have access to the data. The data is processed by Google for the purpose of providing the Sheets service. Trelson AB has entered into an agreement with Google regarding the processing of personal data.
Transfers to the USA
Trelson AB has set the data region for the GWE (Google Workspace for Education) environment to the EU. Data will be processed within the EU/EEA. In the event that personal data is transferred to the USA, Google is certified under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
Duration of Processing
The processing concerns a bank of users who can be contacted for product testing. Information regarding disabilities needs to be stored to enable the filtering of users depending on the feature being tested. Data shall be stored for two years, after which it will be purged.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
We process your personal data based on your consent. This means you always have full control over your data. Here is an overview of your rights:
- Right to Rectification and Erasure: You have the right to have your data corrected at any time if it is inaccurate. You may also ask us to delete your data—for example, if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Right to Restrict and Object to Processing: You can ask us to restrict the processing of your data. This means we may only use it for specific purposes that you approve. You may also object to the processing of your data if you believe we do not have a valid reason to continue processing it.
- Right to Withdraw Your Consent: Since our processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will stop processing your data. However, this does not affect the processing that has already taken place.
- Complaints to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). This is the supervisory authority responsible for monitoring that companies and organizations comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
